Bihar Public Service Commission
BPSC re-announced TRE 4.0 on 22 September 2026 (Advertisement No. 15/2026), cancelling the earlier notice, for 32,388 school teacher posts across Classes 1–12 in Bihar. Applications are open from 25 September to 26 October 2026.

Central Board of Secondary Education
The September 2026 cycle of CTET has been postponed and will now be held on 12 and 13 December 2026 in pen-and-paper mode. Paper II is in the morning shift and Paper I in the afternoon. Registration closed after a reopened window (25 August – 1 September 2026).

National Testing Agency
UGC NET December 2026 is scheduled for 14 to 19 December 2026 (buffer days 20–21 December) as per NTA's 2026–27 calendar. The notification is expected in early October 2026.

Bihar School Examination Board
BSEB released the Bihar STET 2026 notification on 14 August 2026; applications ran from 17 August to 22 September 2026. The CBT exam date has not been announced yet.
An eligibility test such as CTET or Bihar STET only certifies that you may apply for teaching posts; it announces no vacancies. A recruitment exam such as BPSC TRE fills actual posts, and usually requires a valid eligibility-test certificate to apply.
The CTET certificate is valid for life, following the NCTE decision that took effect in 2021.
