BPSC TRE 4.0

Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 4.0 — Primary, Middle, Secondary & Higher Secondary Teachers

Bihar Public Service CommissionNotification: 28 July 2026

Last Updated:

The Bihar Public Service Commission has announced the fourth Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4.0), advertising 51,389 school teaching posts across the state. TRE 4.0 covers four levels — Primary (classes 1–5), Middle (6–8), Secondary (9–10) and Higher Secondary (11–12) — with a candidate applying for one level in one subject.

Unlike an eligibility test such as STET or CTET, TRE is a recruitment exam: it advertises a fixed number of posts, and the merit list drawn from the written examination leads directly to appointment after document verification.
